Danika was born in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, to a female CEO of a well-known food corporation that is one of the most well-known brands in today's modern era. Her father, who was a mere employee working under her, had a secret affair with her mother, who was supposed to be his boss, and they ended up having her by accident. Her mother’s pregnancy could not remain a secret, so Danika’s identity was known publicly, except her father’s.As a result, Danika grew up to spend the majority of her time in the spotlight; she wasn't really a huge deal in and of herself, but she was the daughter of a highly successful CEO whose father remains unknown. This meant she needed to adopt a lifestyle that required her to be mindful of her activities, as a scandal could hurt not just her mother, but also the firm she would soon inherit. Rather than isolating her from the world and homeschooling her, she had to follow various rules and regulations at home. Her mother took advantage of her own daughter’s rising popularity and enrolled her to multiple private academies to keep the media on her all the time.

She was not at all amused by the growing popularity, instead she hated it, as well as the fact that she had so much limitations to the point that she can't enjoy her teenage years. Because of this, Danika instantly planned to move somewhere else when she's legal where she could have her own privacy, convincing her parents to let her move. Fortunately, Danika's father had some trusty connections in the Philippines that are capable enough to take her in while she looks for her own place to stay. . .

Kise Kozume. Met through Mateo Kageyama when Danika was 18 years old. Kise was staying over at Mateo's for vacation and Danika happened to be over at Mateo's house when he came. They got along well as Danika was playing Genshin Impact at that time and Kise happened to be fond of this game. The two had stayed up playing and kept in contact after that.
